Static-X's 2003 record Shadow Zone marked a real turning point for the band. After Wayne Static's melodic turn on "Not Meant for Me" for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack, the band brought in producer Josh Abraham and (with A Perfect Circle drummer Josh Freese) emerged with another Top 20 record — one that challenged longtime fans of their industrial/nu-metal sound while finding new audiences. This first American LP release is pressed on metallic green and gold vinyl with a full-color lyric inner sleeve, remastered for vinyl by Mike Milchner at Sonic Vision.
