The Breeders' 1990 Debut Album

Pod is the debut album by alternative rock band The Breeders, released on 4AD in May 1990. Begun as a collaboration between the Pixies' Kim Deal and Throwing Muses' Tanya Donelly, it was recorded at Palladium studio in Scotland with engineer Steve Albini, bassist Josephine Wiggs, and drummer Britt Walford, yielding a raw, distinctive set that includes a memorable cover of "Happiness Is a Warm Gun."
