In 1968, brothers Paul and Adrian Gurvitz and drummer Louie Farrell formed The Gun, a British power trio regarded as one of the biggest influences on the hard rock and metal giants of the '70s and '80s. Their self-titled debut scored a UK Top 10 hit with "Race with the Devil" and forged a crossroads between blues rock, progressive, and metal that remains a must-have among rock collectors.
