Limited edition of 4,000 numbered copies on "cool blue" 180-gram audiophile vinyl. The eponymous 1976 debut by the Modern Lovers — formed in 1970 by singer-songwriter-guitarist Jonathan Richman with Jerry Harrison (later of Talking Heads), Ernie Brooks and David Robinson (later of the Cars) — features six tracks produced by John Cale, including "Roadrunner," "Pablo Picasso" and "She Cracked." Hugely influential on punk on both sides of the Atlantic, the album appears on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
