Flower-power psych-pop straight out of the Summer of Love. Exploring the jangly folk and garage sounds of the late '60s, Phoenix's Superfine Dandelion fold colorful folk, country and jug-band influences into all-original compositions with a psychedelic tint. Formed in 1967, the band lasted barely a year and left behind this lone album, featuring Mike McFadden (formerly of the Mile Ends) and Rick Anderson (a founding member of the Tubes). Pressed on blue vinyl in the favored stereo mix.
