WOW was Wendy O. Williams' 1984 debut solo album, recorded after the break-up of the pioneering punk/metal band The Plasmatics. Produced by Gene Simmons of KISS — who also co-wrote several tracks and played bass — the record is packed with smart, hard-driving rock, with guest appearances from fellow KISS members. Williams remained one of the most fearless and controversial figures in punk and metal, always following her own instincts.
