Young the Giant is an American rock band from Irvine, California, known for dynamic live performances and a sound that blends soaring vocals, intricate instrumentation, and introspective lyricism. Featuring Sameer Gadhia (lead vocals), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass), and François Comtois (drums), the band broke out in 2010 with the platinum singles "My Body" and "Cough Syrup" and has since become one of alternative rock's defining voices.
