The Dukes of Dixieland was a New Orleans Dixieland-revival band formed in 1948 by brothers Frank and Fred Assunto with their father, Papa Jac Assunto. Originally released in 1960, Louis and the Dukes of Dixieland pairs Louis Armstrong's trumpet and vocals with the group for a joyous run through Dixieland standards, now remastered and pressed on translucent red vinyl.
