A 1969 rarity finally remastered. Humble Pie's critically acclaimed second album Town And Country was set to launch the band into superstardom when their label Immediate Records collapsed, pulling the LP from UK shops just four months after release; it never came out in the USA at all. Recorded during the same fertile period as their debut by Steve Marriott, Peter Frampton, Jerry Shirley, and Greg Ridley, it was praised for its more personal, stripped-back sound. This numbered reissue reproduces the original Hipgnosis-designed sleeve and rare inner lyric bag, plus a fully illustrated 4-panel insert.
