Far Canal (1970) is the second and final studio album from British outfit Jody Grind, blending heavy progressive rock, jazz-inflected grooves, and hard-hitting blues with fearless experimentation. Led by keyboardist Tim Hinkley with Bernie Holland on guitar and Pete Gavin on drums, the album shifts between extended instrumental passages and gritty, riff-laden rock. A boundary-pushing cult gem of the early-'70s British underground.
