Over seven days, King Gizzard recorded hours and hours of jams to create their 21st album, Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms and Lava. Frontman Stu Mackenzie chose seven song titles "that had a vibe" from a running list on his phone, attached a BPM to each, and let the band explore. A lyrical group effort, the result of this experimental process is a quest into the dense and unpredictable.
