The debut album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, presented here in its US sleeve configuration with art directed by Ed Thrasher using Karl Ferris's infra-red fish-eye photo. The US and Canadian issues, released after the band's appearance at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, differ from the UK album: some tracks were swapped for the earlier singles and the running order was changed. This Music On Vinyl edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl.
