MicroLine precision meets a solid boron cantilever: the AT-VM745xML is the new sweet spot in Audio-Technica's current VMx series.

The AT-VM745xML is part of Audio-Technica's current VMx series, designed to deliver new warmth and realism with an expansive soundstage alive with musical detail. Its dual moving magnet design matches two magnets to the left and right channels of the stereo groove, while premium PCUHD (Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability) copper coils in a paratoroidal construction, with slightly reduced coil turns, improve transient response. A center shield plate between the channels reduces crosstalk for clear stereo imaging.

The lightweight nude Microlinear stylus traces the groove with exceptional accuracy and is mounted on a 0.28 mm solid boron cantilever that transmits signals about 2.5 times faster than an aluminum pipe. The die-cast aluminum housing reduces vibration, and threaded inserts let the cartridge mount with just two screws; the stylus protector features a V-cut positioning guide.
