Originally released in 1975, it blends the soul styles running through the East Coast underground of the early '70s, mixing up-tempo club cuts with sweet, warm mellow ballads. Recorded in Detroit, Philadelphia and Miami, produced by Vernon Bullock and orchestrated by Paul Riser, it features the UK soul scene hit "Deeper and Deeper." This 50th-anniversary edition is the first time the album has been pressed on colored vinyl and the first repress since 1975.
