Wake Me When It's Over is the second album by Faster Pussycat, released in 1989. On it the sleazy Hollywood band (named after a Russ Meyer film) moved away from the glam metal of their debut toward a more blues-influenced sound. It contains the power ballad "House of Pain," the band's first big hit, whose video was directed by future film director Michael Bay. The album peaked at No. 48 on the Billboard 200, while "House of Pain" reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.
