Liquorice is the third album from Australian indie pop artist Hatchie, the project of Harriette Pilbeam. Written between Brisbane and Melbourne and completed in Los Angeles with producer Melina Duterte (Jay Som), it trades the darker tone of her previous record for songs about longing, lust, and the dizzy rush of infatuation. Sweet, salty, and bitter all at once, it captures the exhilarating side-effects of love even when the whole story lasts only a single magical night.
