Released in 1989, Conspiracy is the fourth King Diamond album and the second part of the story begun on the previous album Them. An adult King returns to the House of Amon to reclaim his place as heir, but unanswered questions about his sister's death, his mother's involvement with his diabolical therapist, and his own madness prove difficult obstacles. The lineup features guitarists Andy La Rocque and Michael Denner, bassist Timi Hansen and drummer Mikkey Dee, who left after this album and later joined Motörhead.
