When Belfast's Kneecap — Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Provaí — entered the studio with producer Toddla T in summer 2023, they scrapped everything they had prepared and instead 'built' a pub together. Across Fine Art's tracks the imaginary venue, The Rutz, comes to life vividly, the perfect backdrop for the cast of characters who appear throughout. Fiercely intelligent, consistently hilarious and genuinely thought-provoking, the record seamlessly merges Irish with English and satire with socially conscious lyrics.
