Lord Huron — the project of Los Angeles-based songwriter, musician and visual artist Ben Schneider — releases their 2025 album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1, via Mercury Records. Known for creating "atmospheric music of exquisite craft" (Wall Street Journal), the band wrote and coproduced the album alongside a host of collaborators, including actress Kristen Stewart and Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino. The title references the mysterious machine featured on the cover art — what if you could choose your fate like choosing a song on a jukebox?
