Patricia Ann Cole — aka P.P. Arnold — was raised in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles and joined the Ike & Tina Turner Revue as an Ikette at just seventeen. Touring the UK with the Revue in 1966, she befriended Mick Jagger, who suggested she relocate to London and sign to Immediate Records, where she released her debut First Lady of Immediate and the hit "Angel of the Morning." This long-awaited, previously unreleased third Immediate album premieres as part of the label's 60th anniversary celebrations, gathering Arnold's take on Erma Franklin's "Piece of My Heart" alongside unreleased songs, studio demos, and alternate takes — many in stereo for the first time.
