Producer Norman Granz gives Benny Carter's amazing alto tone plenty of room to stretch out over mellow rhythms from Joe Pass on guitar, Dave Young on bass, and Martin Drew on drums. The relaxed, easy-flowing program recalls their classic Verve dates. This Analogue Productions reissue was mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab from the original analog master tape, pressed at Quality Record Pressings, and housed in a gatefold Stoughton Printing tip-on jacket.
