Cut to vinyl from the original master tapes for the first time in decades, this premium mono release commemorates the 70th anniversary of Sam Phillips recording Perkins' smash "Blue Suede Shoes." Many of these tunes are now rock standards — covered by Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, and more — but arguably no one ever did them with more swagger than Carl himself.
