180g Vinyl, Limited Edition, Remastered from the Original Master Tapes
Volume Three in Barclay's legendary Chet Baker in Paris series, presented as a limited-edition 180-gram pressing remastered from the original master tapes in a single sleeve with the original jacket and liner notes. Recorded between October 1955 and February 1956, it gathers sessions in formations ranging from quartet to octet, including the December 26 date featuring Bobby Jaspar on tenor saxophone. Long considered the quiet sibling of the trilogy, it nonetheless contains some of the most beautiful playing Baker committed to tape in this period.
