1969 Debut on Vinyl LP, Restored & Remastered from Recently Discovered Safety Master Tapes

Formed in January 1969, Humble Pie — Steve Marriott, Peter Frampton, Jerry Shirley, and Greg Ridley — became one of the best-loved, hardest-rocking live acts of the 1970s. Their debut As Safe As Yesterday Is, originally released on Immediate Records in August 1969, blended heavy blues, hard rock, and pastoral folk. The original LP was blighted by poor sound after the master tape was lost, but safety master tapes recently discovered in New York have finally allowed the album to be heard as intended. The UK hit single "Natural Born Bugie" has been restored to the album.
