Vibraphonist Joel Ross returns with his fifth Blue Note album, Gospel Music, featuring an expanded sextet lineup of his band Good Vibes with Josh Johnson (alto saxophone), Maria Grand (tenor saxophone), Jeremy Corren (piano), Kanoa Mendenhall (bass), and Jeremy Dutton (drums). The album is Ross's sonic interpretation of the biblical story, an exploration of his faith and the fulfillment of his musical upbringing in the church, delivering a message of hope and love.
