180g Vinyl, Original Mono Mix — Rhino High Fidelity, AAA Cut by Kevin Gray

Widely regarded as one of the most influential jazz records ever made, Giant Steps (1960) was John Coltrane's first Atlantic release as a bandleader, recorded right after his work on Miles Davis's Kind of Blue. It introduced the "Coltrane Changes," a revolutionary harmonic approach still studied today, and ranges from the tenderness of "Naima" to the hard swing of "Mr. P.C." Inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame in 2001, this Rhino High Fidelity edition presents the original mono mix, AAA cut from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal Media.
