Plus 4 was originally released on Prestige in 1956 and features Sonny Rollins playing with the Clifford Brown/Max Roach Quintet. A particularly strong hard bop set, the album contains five cuts including two Rollins originals — "Pent-Up House" and one of his best-known pieces, "Valse Hot." This Original Jazz Classics edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio.
