The Staple Singers were an American gospel, soul and R&B group best known for 1970s hits like "Respect Yourself," "I'll Take You There" and "If You're Ready (Come Go with Me)." Let's Do It Again is their soundtrack to the Bill Cosby/Sidney Poitier film of the same name, with every track written by the legendary Curtis Mayfield. The main title song topped the Billboard Hot 100 and spent two non-consecutive weeks atop the Hot Soul Singles chart.
