Tim Buckley's 1969 album Happy Sad finds the adventurous singer-songwriter in full bloom — his first set of all-Buckley originals, reflecting a growing fascination with jazz. Predominantly acoustic, its six relaxed songs feature Lee Underwood's guitar and David Friedman's vibraphone around Buckley's remarkably elastic voice. This Rhino Reserve edition was cut from the original tapes by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing.
