The record features notable collaborations, including a co-write with Hunter S. Thompson and the dark comedy of "Hit Somebody! (The Hockey Song)" with David Letterman, plus backing from drummer Anton Fig and bassists Tony Levin and Sheldon Gomberg. This Friday Music edition marks the album's first-ever vinyl pressing, on ice blue vinyl with a first-time gatefold jacket.
