Pulp - Different Class - LP

Pulp's fifth album, originally released in October 1995.

The title came to Jarvis Cocker at Smashing, a club night that ran in the early 1990s at Eve's Club on Regent Street in London. A friend of his used the phrase "different class" to mean something in a class of its own, and Cocker liked the double meaning and its allusion to the British class system, a theme running through several of the songs here.
