Cobra And Phases Group Play Voltage In The Milky Night is the sixth studio album by Stereolab, originally released in 1999. Joined by guests including Jim O'Rourke, John McEntire, and others, the group augmented its singular library-rock with influences from free jazz, baroque art-pop, and fusion-funk. This 2025 reissue uses the 2019 remasters, cut from the original 1/2" tapes by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering and overseen by Tim Gane, without bonus material. Each record is housed in a printed sleeve with printed inner sleeves and a protective PVC outer bag.
