Volume 6 marks the vinyl debut of The Complete Stax/Volt Singles 1959-1968, a master class in gritty, deep Southern soul. The collection was remastered from the original Stax/Volt mono single masters, with analog-to-digital transfers performed on a specially modified and restored Ampex 350 full-track mono machine with original tube electronics, all chosen to recreate the Stax sound without compromise. Triple vinyl LP pressing.
