Warren Haynes has been almost ubiquitous since joining the Allman Brothers Band. Making his Stax Records debut, Man in Motion was Haynes' first conscious effort to fully indulge his love for soul music, and his first solo record with backing musicians since 1993. Originally released in 2011, the album was co-produced with Gordie Johnson and boasts a stellar cast including George Porter, Jr., Ivan Neville, Ian McLagan, Raymond Weber, Ron Holloway, and Ruthie Foster.
