19 is the 2008 debut studio album from Adele, named for the age at which she wrote it. Discovered via a demo posted to Myspace that led to a deal with XL Recordings, Adele wrote most of the album herself, working with producers including Jim Abbiss, Eg White and Sacha Skarbek. It features the breakthrough singles "Chasing Pavements" and "Hometown Glory."
