Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision is the latest in-depth project from Experience Hendrix, collecting 39 tracks (38 previously unreleased) that Hendrix recorded with the new-look Experience — Billy Cox on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums — at his newly built Electric Lady Studios between June and August of 1970, just before his untimely death. The set also features 20 new 5.1 surround mixes of the entire First Rays of the New Rising Sun album plus three bonus tracks, and a Blu-Ray with the acclaimed full-length documentary chronicling the studio's creation.
