180-Gram 45 RPM Double LP, Tip-On Gatefold Jacket
Released in March 1977, Burnin' Sky continued to showcase Bad Company's bluesy rock roots, with Paul Rodgers' soulful, powerful vocals leading a gritty, guitar-driven sound. The 12 songs were recorded in France at Château d'Hérouville, where David Bowie would record Low later that same year. The title track reached No. 78 on the U.S. pop singles chart while the album peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. This Analogue Productions reissue, part of the Atlantic 75th Anniversary Series, was cut at 45 RPM.
