Genuine Audio-Technica AT-VMN50xSH replacement stylus — a 2.7 x 0.26 mil nude Shibata on a 0.28 mm solid boron cantilever.

The Shibata profile presents a long, narrow contact patch to the groove wall, picking up high-frequency information a rounder tip misses while spreading the load over more surface so it stresses the groove less. The diamond is nude and grain-oriented.
