The Cambridge Audio EXA100 is the beating heart of the EX series — 100 watts of refined Class AB amplification derived from the flagship Edge M monoblocs, with a hi-res ESS SABRE32 DAC, HDMI eARC and aptX HD Bluetooth.

Developed over three years and more than a thousand days of tuning at Cambridge Audio's London HQ, the EXA100 delivers 100W into 8 ohms (155W into 4 ohms) of Class AB power drawn directly from technology developed for the Edge M monobloc power amplifier. A shielded, ultra-quiet toroidal transformer — a legacy running back to Cambridge's 1968 P40 — sits flanked by heavy-duty heat sinks, backed by a reservoir capacitor for dynamic power delivery and a four-layer PCB for pristine signal routing.

Digitally, it's a powerhouse: the ESS ES9018K2M SABRE32 DAC handles USB audio up to 24-bit/384kHz and DSD256, HDMI eARC connects your TV at up to 24-bit/192kHz, and Bluetooth aptX HD streams hi-res wireless. A milled aluminium front panel and tactile knurled volume knob make it a statement piece that looks as powerful as it sounds.
