Hubbard shines throughout, combining dazzling technique with deep musical expression, a reminder of why he remains one of jazz's most influential trumpet voices. This edition adds two bonus tracks, "Piano Trio Medley" and "Big Foot," from a 1985 trio session pairing Hubbard and Blakey with Mulgrew Miller and Lonnie Plaxico.

Feel the Wind is part of the 50-year legacy of the Dutch Timeless Records label. The sleeve contains newly written liner notes by Wim & Ria Wigt.
