In that year Gregory Isaacs was Jamaica's most popular artist, and these sessions — cut with the 25-year-old Riddim Twins at the height of their powers — yielded hits like “Soon Forward” and a fabulous cover of Bob Marley's “Slave Driver.” This edition features extended “Discomix” versions of the songs plus three dub versions previously released only in Jamaica as single B-sides in 1979, never reissued until now.
