Friday Music presents the meeting of two jazz fusion giants, Jack Wilson and Roy Ayers. This 1966 classic features the title hit "Ramblin'" alongside stellar covers of Oliver Nelson's "Stolen Moments" and John Coltrane's "Impressions," plus an entire three-part suite of Johnny Mandel's "The Sandpiper." Mastered by Joe Reagoso from the Vault Records tapes and pressed on limited-edition translucent blue vinyl, the album also includes a bonus track of the long-out-of-print Vault single "The Sidewinder," written by Lee Morgan. Featured musicians: Jack Wilson, Roy Ayers, Varner Barlow, and Monk Montgomery.
