Originally released in 1959, Gone With Golson is saxophonist Benny Golson's fifth album and a fine example of hard bop. It features four Golson compositions plus Ray Bryant's "Staccato Swing" and the standard "Autumn Leaves." This Original Jazz Classics edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, housed in a Stoughton Tip-On jacket.
