Who Is the Sky? is David Byrne's first solo album in seven years, a first-time collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Kid Harpoon (Tom Hull) and New York-based chamber ensemble Ghost Train Orchestra, featuring guest appearances by Paramore's Hayley Williams, longtime collaborator St. Vincent and The Smile's drummer Tom Skinner. Building on the optimistic themes of American Utopia, it's a particularly personal, cinematic, humorous and joyful set that rides the razor's edge between avant-garde and accessible pop.
