Remastered from the original tapes, it's filled front to back with sumptuous, hypnotic grooves — African percussion, soulful orchestrations, and in-the-pocket rhythms that made it a favorite of beat heads and producers. This deluxe edition adds eight bonus tracks drawn from the surviving four-track session reels, including an explosive take of the single "Soul Vibrations," extended versions of the title track and "Little Sunflower," and two jazzy readings of "Theme from Valley of the Dolls."
