On his 1963 album One Step Beyond he forged a distinctive inside-out sound with a unique quintet featuring Grachan Moncur III, Bobby Hutcherson, Eddie Khan and Tony Williams. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
