Records in early 1966, this set mixes new compositions with re-workings of tunes John Lee Hooker had previously recorded, including a cover of Barrett Strong's "Money (That's What I Want)." Backed by Panama Francis on drums, Milt Hinton on bass and Barry Galbraith on second guitar, it is some of Hooker's best material with a full band.
