[Pre Order] Talking Heads - Fear of Music (Super Deluxe Edition) - 3CD + Blu-Ray Audio Boxed Set *

Release Date: November 13, 2026

Three CDs and a Blu-ray: the 2026 remaster with rarities, two complete 1979 concerts, Atmos and 5.1 mixes, and a 60-page hardcover book.

Fear of Music was Talking Heads' third album and their second made with Brian Eno behind the board, the point where the band's jittery art-funk turned genuinely unsettling. Rhino's Super Deluxe Edition pairs the 2026 remaster and a run of alternate versions and outtakes with two full shows from the tour — Boston's Berklee Performance Center in August 1979 and the Capitol Theatre in Passaic that November. Nearly all of those performances are previously unreleased, bar a handful that surfaced on 1982's The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads. The Blu-ray carries hi-res stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos mixes of the album plus the band's 1979 Old Grey Whistle Test performances of "Life During Wartime" and "Air."
