[Pre Order] Talking Heads - Fear of Music (Super Deluxe Edition) - LP Box Set *

Release Date: November 13, 2026

Six LPs: the 2026 remaster, a disc of rarities with a custom etching, and two complete 1979 concerts — with a 60-page hardcover book.

Fear of Music was Talking Heads' third album and their second made with Brian Eno behind the board, the point where the band's jittery art-funk turned genuinely unsettling. Rhino's Super Deluxe Edition surrounds the 2026 remaster with alternate versions and outtakes, then devotes four sides apiece to two full shows from the tour — Boston's Berklee Performance Center in August 1979 and the Capitol Theatre in Passaic that November. Nearly all of those performances are previously unreleased, bar a handful that surfaced on 1982's The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads. The set includes a 60-page hardcover book of rare photos with liner notes by Will Hermes, author of Love Goes to Buildings on Fire.
