We and the Sea is a 1967 album by Brazilian trio Tamba 4, led by pianist Luiz Eça, recorded for Creed Taylor and released on A&M/CTI. Mastered by Rudy Van Gelder, it is a luminous set of bossa nova and MPB — sparse, flowing, and drenched in harmony vocals — ranging from the epic "O Morro (The Hill)" to a gorgeous reading of "Canto de Ossanha."
